Element 6: Data Analysis
Find a data set of interest to you and explore it to learn as much as you can about it.
The data I used was about the top 25 research universities and top 25 liberal arts schools in the United States. The data set includes data for the average SAT score, acceptance rate, dollars spent per student, percent of students who graduated in the top 10% of their high school class, percent of professors who hold a PhD, and percent of students who eventually graduate.
The data set online is a bit confusing so the Excel file may be easier to use. The Excel file also contains additional calculations I used in my analysis.
